Reign In Blood's only parallel is Kill 'Em All.

Dude I WAS THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED.

I find the flavour to be totally different though, RIB has many of the Thrash conventions, with Slayers trademark dissonance, KEM is basically Motorhead with some other stuff thrown in, great album though.

I'd take Metallica over Slayer anyday, to be honest.

Kill 'Em All is Show No Mercy. The band is kind of "meh" and they are trying to find their sound. RIB is Slayer's pinnacle, and MOP was Metallica's pinnacle. Seasons in the Abyss and South of Heaven are like Ride the Lightning and ...And Justice for All.

I hated AJFA, the mix and the songs, it just didn't do anything for me.

The mix sucks. But One, AJFA, Blackened, and Harvester of Sorrow are awesome.

I suppose so.

There were a few good ones on the Black Album too, and on Load, after that Metallica starts getting...meh..

It's like Megadeth for example, awesome stuff, starts getting meh. Currently I'm really enjoying Testament.

I've only been really able to enjoy Rust in Peace. A bit of Peace Sells. Oh, and I suppose Countdown was alright, although it isn't anything special.

God don't say that around any 'Deth fans, they turn rabid and start shouting stuff.

I loved RIP, it has some of my favourite metal Guitar solos, it's less Sabbath influenced then 'Deths earlier offerings too, from a musical perspective.

Dream Theater: Score

A three disc live album, with orchestral accompaniment . Very awesome.
