All the new modes have great potential, though I hope the bonus stages aren't simply a separate thing. That might be the nostalgia talking, tho.
Next iteration hopefully has some sort of team attack where two from the same team can switch in and out. It would also be nifty to have an endless fight mode where the damage isn't recovered between rounds/players.
