Well, THAT is going to make an impact in Edmonton. If nothing else, it shows that if a city isn't interested in building an appropriate arena, then the NHL is willing to move a team.

Charles Wang has bent over backwards trying to get an arena deal done with Long Island.
The people and politicians there have no one to blame but themselves, and when the Isles are on the rise again and packing 'em in at their new home in Brooklyn they will regret it.

No, they won't. Politicians will never look backward. If anything, they'll blame Wang and say that he planned this from the beginning.

The fans, the local bar owners, the hoteliers, etc. they will be the ones who regret it.

Apparently its harder for a black man to play hockey in Europe than it is in Georgia.

    Game on next Saturday..
This will be a good time to play Pro Line , there should be lots of unexpected victories by weaker teams in the coming weeks.
With the firing of Brian Burke, there is now a better chance that Roberto Luongo and his massive contract could find himself in Toronto.

Luongo will blow at least one critical save in the playoffs, and the TO fans will crush him like a bug for it.

So, yeah. Let's see it happen!

    lmao
The Lockout has enabled the Habs in dumping Gomez and his ridiculous salary.
One of the biggest busts in NHL history, to be sure.

Not sure what happened to this guy, he used to be a decent player.
