Are these guys HMB? They're going at it pretty strong haha! (Look at all the head injuries and that guy with the split ear!)

I'd say a big chunk of those guys are reenactors, not LARPers. It doesn't look as strict as some reenactments, since there's a lot of different impressions from multiple timelines, but sometimes that's what you gotta do to get a real big war like this one. I do Golden Age of Piracy events, and sometimes you have to cast your net as far as Buccaneers to AWI Privateers.

Those dudes are hardcore, though. You don't see a lot of free-form fighting in the states. Usually you fight people you know and trust. Those guys seem to be just wailing on each other.
Arjuna: Is the universe supposed to be something else?

Normand: Yeah, it's a collection of places commodore pipes
has chomped pillows while being reamed up the ass.
Fortunately, that's not ALL it is.

    how's your day going, commode-pipe?

I never really liked playing Paladins when I played RPGs on the computer. I was always a wizard or warrior of some sort although I did love to play cleric types when they were available in a specific title.

As for LARP I've never done it. However, I did try to invent a bicycle jousting game when I was younger and had made full suits of hardened plastic armor for it. I never got to try it out though because all of my friends had stopped playing my games because someone would always get hurt. Well, there was one time where I field-tested the armor with dowel rods as bludgeoning weapons. It worked pretty well, but of course while doing it a friend got hurt. I never did actually get to joust in the stuff :/.

I just really like this post. Most human post I have ever read of yours.
Don’t say, “It’s been a good day” till sundown.
    Don’t say, “She’s a good wife” till she’s buried.
Don’t say, “It’s a good sword” till you’ve tested it.
Don’t say, “She’s a good girl” till she’s married off.
Don’t say, “The ice is safe” till you’ve crossed it.
Don’t say, “The beer is good” till you’ve drunk the last of it.

    From Hávamál, a Norse poem
