In this thread I will answer any and all questions about clothing and the fashion industry to the best of my ability. Why is it so gay looking? What makes x so special? Ask away.

Why is the standard drop from Chest to waist size in suits 6 inches? is that really the average?
Don’t say, “It’s been a good day” till sundown.
    Don’t say, “She’s a good wife” till she’s buried.
Don’t say, “It’s a good sword” till you’ve tested it.
Don’t say, “She’s a good girl” till she’s married off.
Don’t say, “The ice is safe” till you’ve crossed it.
Don’t say, “The beer is good” till you’ve drunk the last of it.

Why don't shoe companies get their shit together and have one sizing standard? I don't even mean UK/US/Europe being merged to one, but a size 9 for company X should be a size 9 for company Y as well.

It used to be, but with growing rates of obesity and hyper fitness nonstandard drops are becoming very common.

Companies that don't vanity size actually tend to be pretty close to a standard. The same with dress shoes and many boots, for the most part. It's low level companies and sneaker brands that are all over the place.

The more obscure the band the more your street cred will be. You got a Zep shirt? Who doesn't. You got a Brainticket shirt? Fuck yeah.

If you like a band then that means it has fans and is too mainstream.
