I am watching the Cape. This is NBC's attempt to make a less pretenious superhero after the 4th season fiasco that was Heroes. It seems like a pastiche of all the Batman t.v. shows and movies, so I'm still trying to figure out if they are being campy on purpose or the show just sucks.

just started watching castle. It's just a vehicle for Nathan Fillion to act like a cocky ass, basically a toned down captain hammer. Works for a cop show because it seems to be a little self aware.

Just watched the pilot episode of the short lived FX show Terriers. I'm seriously impressed, such a shame that such a good show (was rated consistently in the top ten, if not number one, shows of 2010) died after one season. It's about a PI team, one an ex cop/dry alcoholic and the other a former thief changed ways (sort of, not letting his skills go to waste by any means). Also starring two actors that I'm sure you'll recognize...

Spooks was great when they didn't whip their dicksguns out every week.

    Now it's just good.

Mind you, I'm 2 years behind.
I'm here a week now... waiting for a mission... getting softer. Every minute I sit in front of this computer, I get weaker, and every minute Charlie squats in the gym, he gets stronger

My issue with spooks is it consistently pushes your suspension of disbelief too far, which spoils it.

By the time you are my age so many brain cells have died you don't care.
Don’t say, “It’s been a good day” till sundown.
    Don’t say, “She’s a good wife” till she’s buried.
Don’t say, “It’s a good sword” till you’ve tested it.
Don’t say, “She’s a good girl” till she’s married off.
Don’t say, “The ice is safe” till you’ve crossed it.
Don’t say, “The beer is good” till you’ve drunk the last of it.
