mount bigby ale is quite nice, although there darker brews are a bit undercarbonated.

Haha.. sorry. I saw the eagle and made a terrible assumption. Even though I live about 10 minutes away from the AB brewery, I'm not that familiar with their products for obvious reasons.

I'm not sure if I've ever noticed a sugar cane taste, but there is definitely something about it that sets it apart from other lagers. Plus, the bottle looks really cool. :)

    Anchor porter.
    Lagunitas IPA.

But these days I'm more of a wine and liquor guy.
I'm here a week now... waiting for a mission... getting softer. Every minute I sit in front of this computer, I get weaker, and every minute Charlie squats in the gym, he gets stronger

It's the best light beer on the market that doesn't have a strong yeast flavour. not that a strong yeast flavour is a bad thing, it's just different.

I never get tired of OSH. It has replaced Newcastle as my defacto favorite beer.

Love the Unibroue beers as well. Cassius on Bullshido turned me on to the Dogfish brewery. They're all excellent,

Finally, I also enjoy drinking Golden Monkey by the Victory Brewing company. Like some of the Dogfish ales, it's quite strong.

As of 2006, Portland had 26 microbrewries. it's hard to pick a favorite with so many world-class beers available.
