The first video has been removed. CONSPIRACY!!!

What do you think the odds are that the bloke in the second vid has now been arrested for "driving without due care and attention"?

That's a whole lotta rant while driving. That's the definition of 'distracted driving'.

Which makes him a douchebag himself.

TUCSON, Ariz. — An Arizona man’s Facebook post about a traffic stop is going viral.

Steven Hildreth Jr. says he was pulled over for a broken headlight by the Tucson Police Department.

When police asked if Hildreth had any weapons, he told officers he is a conceal-and-carry permit holder and was carrying a gun on his right hip.

Since his wallet was in his back-right pocket, the officer needed to disarm him to check his ID.

Hildreth wrote about the experience on his Facebook page, and in 48 hours, the post was shared over 150,000 times:

"I’m a black man wearing a hoodie and strapped. According to certain social movements, I shouldn’t be alive right now because the police are allegedly out to kill minorities.

Maybe…just maybe…that notion is bunk.

Maybe if you treat police officers with respect, they will do the same to you.

Police officers are people, too. By far and large, most are good people and they’re not out to get you.

I’d like to thank those two officers and TPD in general for another professional contact.

We talk so much about the bad apples who shouldn’t be wearing a badge. I’d like to spread the word about an example of men who earned their badges and exemplify what that badge stands for."

Its at time like this that I miss Snake's (PBUH, RIP) irrational support for the police regardless of the situation.

The kids actions forced him to shoot, he could not see a bystander, who was killed as well. I would be pretty pissed at the kid. Not sure I would sue, but it makes some sense.

Yeah I mean why wouldn't someone, who'd called the cops for help 3 times, then attack the responding cops?

Cops are often called in America so that they respond and can be harassed.

One had a bat. Which was allegedly swung at the officer several times. One hit to the head from a bat and you could be dead. A hit anywhere else and you could be incapacitated and on the ground, then dead.

Cops in the U.S. have guns. EVERYONE knows it. Just comply.

NoBowie

Nope. I am a well functioning part in a civilized society.

I understand the obvious rules.

You, on the other hand, believe folks should be able to swing deadly weapons at officers of the law without an appropriate response / consequences.

10th February 16, 06:38 PM
Or maybe cops with guns should show some restraint.

But its pointless trying to tell you. You have been brainwashed by the Big Brother Cult. You need Big Brother too much.

You love him, just like you loved Jesus.

I love rational people. Rational people don't wave bats at armed policeman.

This wasn't a revolution, this wasn't some battle for change, it wasn't anything worth sacrificing himself for. It was stupidity.

NoBowie

You should seriously change the title to something like scared cops react to really stupid people.

You only have the cop's word for that cuz he shot the other witness dead.... go figure...

NoBowie
10th February 16, 08:04 PM
Wow. I guess in all of those cases we should just lock the cop up and throw away the key.

Before he shoots, he needs to make sure he has a witness.

Like Fury Road, but different.

WITNESS MEEEEE!

Chest cams on all cops is a good thing though.

Shoulder mounted cams would be better. That way, they're not obscured when the cop needs to take up a firing position.

Or headcams. Then there is never any question of what a cop saw or didn't see.

Unions. Take a group of otherwise competent, intelligent folks and put them in a union and the most irrational fear, like the camera being used against them even in a situation where they were doing the right thing, will spread throughout the group and they will take action based on that fear.

Teacher's unions do similar things. Hell, all unions. Unions have some of the worst groupthink there is.

Most groups have shit group think. A person can rationally understand and dissect a problem, a group thinks that problem will cost them money/jobs/homes/still their wiminz, without looking at the issues. For all our science, we're still pretty primitive.

How are the cops going to collect kick backs with shoulder cams?

They'll have to do it on their own time
