And thank Krishna for that.

The best to watch is the passenger compartment, especially driver's side. Note the area the driver is in just crumples in the Bel Air. That dude is dead. The Malibu driver might get some whiplash.

Holy shit. You hear about the safety ratings, etc., but that really shows how much progress has been made.

I know these are not necessarily super reliable. I know they burn fuel like woodie harrelson smokes weed. But this is what I want. It is from 1987. And I want it. It would cost about 8 grand (british). they *are* pretty safe. Because they are made of foot-thick adamantium. And if you're worried about the fuel cost of hauling that around, you aren't ready for it yet.

It's important that a car has a nice arse.

That's a nice car. You've already done the sensible thing buying the most boring car in the world for the family, it's about time you get a gratifying ride.

16th January 14, 06:40 PM
I knew you would understand. I know it's wrong but it feels so right.

16th January 14, 06:50 PM
Is that the V12?

edit: yes it says so

You insulted a man's aspired-to car. I think he considers that blasphemy.

20th January 14, 02:54 PM
That was the first car I really, REALLY wanted to own. I was 17 when they first came out.

Still love them, though I hear they are unreliable as hell.

They are shockingly unreliable (& have awful interiors).

Eight grand seems a bit steep for an 87 though. I just looked on autotrader and there is a manual 88 for under 6 asking with FSH and lowish mileage and you could knock that down a bit.

Sorry just noticed it's a 3,6, there's an auto 4.0 for the same in Peterborough though same price and just over 80,000 on the clock.
