No, but it was a horse shit call. As far as hair pulling goes I was always under the impression that long hair was considered part of the uniform and thus not taboo to yank on.... Unless your name is Troy Polamalu.

Sad news ...

My heart goes out to Urlacher and his family. I am confident that this hardship will do nothing but motivate him all the more.

On another note, San Diego got hit with a double dose of bad news. Our kicker Nate Kaeding is out for the whole season. Nate you are a fucking kicker, you have no business trying to tackle fools with your scrawny 187lb ass. No idea what that guy was thinking.

If that wasn't bad enough now DE Luis Castillo is out for most likely half the fucking season as well.

Indy looks fucked without Manning...
Vick inspired the wrath of the football gods by taunting the fans as he left the field with a concussion - the Falcons stormed back to win the game. HA HA ! Fucking dog killer asshole.
The Buffalo Bills - Oakland Raiders game was the one I watched - it was great. Oakland's D sucks big time though.

Indy is going to end up with Luck in next year's draft... Son of a bitch.

I thought the Bills were going to come back to earth this week..but maybe they are for real after all. Two weeks in a row with impressive victories.
Green Bay made my Bears look like a bunch of sad sacks. *sigh*

Oh, and this too - http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Video-Hester-fakes-punt-return-while-Knox-field?urn=nfl-wp7932

Bills got knocked off by the lowly Bengals..
Bears punt returned for a 63 yd TD courtesy of Devin Hester - who is quickly becoming one of my favorite Bears.
Can anybody stop Rodgers and Green Bay ?

Well, my Chargers are 3 and 1. But they have struggled through all four of their games so far. I am gonna kick back like a good Charger fan till week 7 before I start getting my hopes up and verbally t-bagging every faggot raiders fan from T.J. to the Bay.

Redskins are 3-1 going into their bye-week. It may of been an ugly 3-1, but hey, it's more then most expected. The Skin's D is playing lights out though, Kerrigan and Orakpo are seriously pass-rushing beasts.

Great game tonight between Detroit and Chicago !
Half time Bears lead 10-7 in a great defensive game.
RIP Al Davis - a true football man.

Make no mistake ...the Lions are for real.
Cutler played amazing considering he has NO protection !

Watched that game. Poker buddy was rooting for the Lions' defense to lose as his fantasy football opponent was riding on them. Some nice plays by Lions' dude he kept calling Megatron.

What a brutal collapse by Chicago against Denver yesterday..
Huge mental error on Barber's part, cost them the game..then he gets a chance to redeem himself in OT and he fumbles the ball when they are within field goal range.
Now they are third in the Wild Card race at 7-6. Fuck !

Will anyone beat the GB Packers this year ???

Ozz, I am a Green Bay fan, but I really feel for you guys. I wouldn't wish Hanie on anyone. That sounds like a dig, but it isn't. The Bears, as a whole, could still be contenders with any other QB - that's how good I think the team is.

The funny thing about that is two of the three losses since he has been in were not really his fault. He did just barely enough for them to win both of the last two games and his offense let him down by fumbling passes and taking dumb penalties.
Mind you, he hasn't been stellar..but that's what you get with a 2nd stringer.
The first two I could stomach, but that last one was an absolute disaster and it was one of my favorite players' fault ( Barber ). It completely ruined my mood for about an hour.
I never realized how good Cutler really was until this happened.

Well..this thread has really died. All of our teams are out..
I wish the 49'ers had made it to the Superbowl so I could cheer for a team I actually like.
That kicker for the Ravens really choked last weekend..only 32 yards. Wow..he'll have to live with that the rest of his life.
So ? Patriots or Giants ? Who's it gonna be ?

Japuma

Eli Manning is well known for coming up big in the final 3 minutes of a game and he did it again on Sunday.

I watched the game for some reason. Pats had awesome drives but really dropped the ball when it counted - heh. (Seriously though - two incompletes on easy passes in the last drive and an interception by a linebacker??)

As I understood it the butt-down was he was trying to stop at the 1 yard line so they could draw it out until the final minute and get an easy win. He basically got let through by the defense and was going to stop but since his momentum was too strong and the defense was nowhere near him he probably thought "eh, f it" and turned around and sat down for the touchdown. This gave the Patriots enough time to try to even up the score and get enough points over to win because he got the touchdown and the ball was returned to them and possibly pull a win out if they had made a better offensive drive. Thus, sloppy on the Giants' part... the butt down almost cost them their win. Both teams were sloppy as hell on passing and advancing to get first down. I've seen better plays and action in College games for sure and this was supposed to be the best of the best? Come on...

I was at a party with guys who played with some of the Patriots in High School and College and they agreed the game was sloppy as heck. They were bitter too though... so whatever.
