I dont really care whether you live or die but good luck to you anyway cos im trying to be more nice in life.

I also want you to know its okay to eat dead people if it makes the difference between your survival or your death.
It's also okay to end someone who's already severely wounded and wont make it anyway, and then eat him.
and take his wallet.

go get em tigers!!!

God look?

*Cullion casts God Look on the Eastern Seaboard to absorb 10d6 damage.*

Mandrill is around here too, as well as Ming, Scrapper, JP, domite and a few other Bullshido folks. And thanks... I'll be spending my Friday night prepping against leaks and securing my garden, especially my two stands of bamboo who seem to love to get mobile in high winds.

Like when you have too many cocks in the kitchen. However I'm very good at grabing all the cocks and wrangling them.

Wait! I meant cook.

Or did i?

Who else?

Most of my family and friends.

However, they are all mostly inland. I've been through what, like 2 hurricanes and 5 tropical storms now? Unless you are within a certain mileage of the shore there really isn't too much to worry about.

The only caveat would be if the hurricane just sat there half in and half out of the ocean continuing to power itself up. Been through one of those. The flooding was unpleasant.

Tornadoes freak me out a lot worse now.

After the tornado we had up here earlier in the week, Environment Canada put up watches two days later during a thunderstorm and people were completely overreacting. We went through a McD's drivethru on the way to work, when it had already finished raining, and they told us they couldn't take our order because ' the tornado was about to hit '.
My buddy was pissed , so we drove around and when they rolled up the window he asked " If you are so damn worried about a tornado, why aren't you in the basement?"
Things were blown out of proportion around here because of the damage caused by the the tornado up in Goderich.

they were hoping the tornado would carry them away from Canada to someplace hip and cool.

Worst I'm going to get from Irene is heavy rain. I doubt there'll even be a tornado warning this far inland. My roommate actually just got back from the beach - said it was nice and sunny the whole time, although apparently other tourists weren't scared either and the place was packed.

why do hurricanes always have the whitest fucking names in the english language? is it too much to ask for a hurricane lashanda or a hurricane toshiro?

bob

Pretty sure they name them after the family members of staff at the bureau of meteorology. One of the perks of the job.

No interruptions, leaks, etc where I live. Although I found out that where I used to live they shut off the steam system so no hot water for them until Tuesday evening. Glad I moved.

parts of philadelphia got creamed, since we're between two rivers, but my house was fine. we were stranded in europe, since the hurricane hit the day we were to return, but our super-awesome neighbors locked down all our shit on our back porch to keep it from flying through the windows.

good neighbors are better than good relatives.
