For me it would have to consist of corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes and carrots. Twelve hour slow cook in a crock pot. Served with whole milk and fresh bread with salt butter.

SM - why the fatalistic tone?

I'd go with a slice of chocolate cake with citrus butter cream and a hot glass of mint and ginger herbal infusion.

Bratwurst and sauerkraut done in a slow cooker on a soft sourdough roll, with a good beer and french fries (thick cut, done in peanut oil)

oysters on the half shell, with vodka martinis
dry aged standing rib roast, Yorkshires, gravy, mashed potatoes. a bottle of pinot noir, something dry and ballsy.
chocolate soufflé for afters, with some white port
a glass of scotch old enough to have kids old enough to order it in the US.

A tossed salad with shredded beets, sunflower sprouts, fresh spinach leaves, jicama, and honey mustard dressing
French onion soup made without eggs
Baked butternut squash
Steamed asparagus
Massive veggie lasagna loaded with ricotta cheese
Cauliflower and green pepper pakoras
And butterscotch halava for dessert

SM - why the fatalistic tone?

I know it is a crazy concept but we all will indeed have a last meal.

Almost makes you want to get on death row so you can plan it out. Right now my most likely last meal will be a two-day old bagel and some water.

Thanksgiving dinner...I always fall asleep afterwards, which could be benificial.

Whenever I try and picture it, I just keep thinking how I might escape my fate.

'Maybe a roast beef dinner like my grandmother made.. with a pistol hidden in the yorkshire pudding!' etc..

Are you hoping to kill the guards with your breath?

16th August 10, 02:40 PM
Perhaps. And leave them a mess to clean up as well. A toxic mess!
