I don't care much for Levi's mainline jeans after getting into the vintage denim stuffs, but I still have a soft spot for the original waist overalls. I keep my eyes peeled for Levi's higher-end collections, because they can still make exceptional denim when the unwashed masses aren't their target audience. Here's some of the less-offensive (no disco jeans) collaborations currently on the table.

Not huge on the jeans, but I like the effect on the jacket even though I'm not normally in to that sort of gaudy thing.

The bandana and jacket I like, though I don't know why you would attach a hood to an unlined denim jacket. The rest of this is sort of loud.

Levi's x MEN'S NON-NO
This one is damn slick.

This collection kills it, everyone else can go home because you can't top this without just doing the exact same thing. Instead of asking how can we cover these Levi's in paint and add holes to them so you don't have to! they asked how can we give these old jeans a fresh profile and clean look.

I trash distressed denim a lot, but there's definitely a market for people who want old looking denim without waiting a year for their new jeans to become old. This is at least a tasteful way to pre-destroy your clothes.

the jacket is really nice, I'd pick it up if I had the money. the bandanna would be cool at a hipster club (ironically), or as a cool edittrail bandanna. The white trash in me loves the distressed jean vest.
