Man, what a relief for the fans (and players) in motown...
The losing streak lasted 19 games and spread over 2 seasons..they finally snapped it today with a 19-14 win over the Washington Redskins.
The Lions are now tied for second-longest losing streak in NFL history..

Looks like that mentoring program really helped them out.

If I don't hear that Zorn & Cerrano are fired first thing in the morning, I'm going to have Snyder's head on a plate.

They'll probably beat the bears next week too.

Typically disappointing chicago football.

I promise, they will be back to their usual abysmal form in no time.

Ahem..fuck you...
Cutler's been playing great and Da Bears have been staging some nice combacks lately so don't go trashing DA TEAM !

You fuck off.

I've been dealing with their bullshit since 1987.

Football's the one where they hold the egg in their hand most of the time, right?

Yes, until everyone mashes together and plays 'hide the egg'.

I jumped on the Bears bandwagon in '86 and have stayed on through thick and thin..

Then you can empathize.

How dare you, sir.

Is there an American equivalent of rival fans chanting 'You're Shit - And You Know You Are!' during embarrassing moments for the other team?

Not en masse, I don't think.

This was the first thing I thought of, though.

Apparently that's just the thing to do to Red Sox fans if they show up to a Yankees game.
