That is a delicious motherfucking hamburger and you will show it some proper respect
it is from in-n-out, which is better than fatburger or fuddruckers or whatever else some asshole is going to come in and parade as the one burger to rule them all

A rare burger off the grill on my deck is the only one burger, sorry. I like 'em rare, so only a diner can give me what I want away from home.

yeah, nothing beats a home cooked one with all the fresh veggies and pickles and such. Ever had sweet potato chips? Those are great too. I'm going to go grill out this weekend.

Red Mill burgers (http://www.redmillburgers.com/) is where it's at, apparently. Every time I've tried to eat there the place is fucking packed to the gills and I ain't waiting that long for a hamburger, hence the "apparently."

Red Robin (http://www.redrobin.com) is my staple if I'm actually going to go out and pay someone to make me a hamburger. You'd like it MJS, the original location (http://www.redrobin.com/aboutus/history.aspx) still has the stoned mascot painted on the wall (as I have mentioned before):

Though I normally eat at the Northgate location nowadays.

MJS, you look at food in the same way you look at clothes. It's niche, stylised variations on a cheap shit base.

I hope you raise your horizons, and hence, expectations, to the same level you can look at music on. When it comes to music, you've got an elevated sense of your own non-populist style, an appreciation for naturalism, detail and history. Bring it through to everything else.

One day I'll teach you how to cook, but you have to prove you're ready first.

Sorry Lily, but I have experienced the now shameful delight of a true Philly Cheese steak, and that greasy decadent mess would be very good.

Also, not really a burger connoisseur, so I rarely went pricier in my choices than Carl's Jr. I think I remember liking Bunhuggers tho.

Fair enough. I accept that a rare burger made from good beef with good cheddar and real pickles has it's place. You ought to talk about the rest of the menu though.

The best burgers are made at home. Well, expensive restaurants do make some excellent burgers, but they're charging you an enormous markup for something you could create yourself, whereas the other 'fancy' dishes are sometimes things that actually benefit from classical chef's training to make properly.

Zendetta
17th July 09, 06:27 PM
THat's the awesome thing about In-n-Out Burger. They don't really have a "rest of the menu". Burgers, fires, soda, milkshakes, with a couple of variants, plus a couple of options that arn't on the menu at all.

They are like the Zen Koan of burger joints.

Cullion
17th July 09, 06:33 PM
By 'rest of the menu' I was being figurative. I meant I'd like to see threads from MJS about the higher forms of culinary art and fashion.

Are you talking avant garde fashion or just suits? I don't see why you're looking down on brands like APC or Rag & Bone just because they also make jeans and denim shirts in addition to slacks and overcoats.

You're the worst vegetarian ever. You can eat at my place anytime.

Yo Cullion, You want higher order food? Fine. Anyone know a good place where I can get some motherfucking udon? Or some okonomiyaki up in this bitch? There's like 4 Japanese resteraunts within 10 minutes of my house and no one makes Okonomiyaki. Jesus god I want some goddamn cabbage pizza pancakes.

MEGA JESUS-SAMA

I don't know any Japanese place that doesn't serve udon, even the garbage fast food ones around here do. I love that dish but I don't order very often, we usually sit at the sushi bar where I go.

This is why I don't bother with a fashion forum.

True. I don't eat a lot of sushi because I don't like fish that much. I feel like a liar when I eat non-fish sushi. Still, you haven't lived until you've eaten Okonomiyaki.

If memory serves it's Hiroshima that apparently does the best Okonomiyaki. There really isn't a 't3h r34l' since it's one of those 'make it how you like it' dishes. In fact, 'as you like it', I'm told is pretty much the translation of the name.

I ate a lot of soba and ramen soup when I was in Japan. Tempura too. I ate whale sashimi, wouldn't recommend it.

I hear the restaurant facades are positively radiant!

Although the Okonomiyaki served at stands is, I'm sure, to die for.

The best eateries are probably located at the nucleus of the city, I'm sure they'd blow you away.

If it's a particularly hot day they might throw on some mushroom to even out the explosive flavors, you don't want your mouth roasted!

Visiting the city without sampling the full cornucopia of local cuisine

would be

Enola Gay?
