Man Falls Into Vat of Chocolate, Dies
AP
posted: 16 HOURS 8 MINUTES AGO
CAMDEN, N.J. (July 8) – Authorities say a man died after falling into a vat of melted chocolate in a New Jersey processing plant.
The Camden County prosecutor's office identified the victim as 29-year-old Vincent Smith II of Camden. He was a temporary worker at the Cocoa Services Inc. plant.
The accident happened Wednesday morning as Smith was loading chocolate into a vat where it's melted and mixed before being shipped elsewhere to be made into candy.
Prosecutor's spokesman Jason Laughlin says a co-worker tried to shut off the machine and two others tried to pull Smith out of the 8-foot-deep vat. He was hit and fatally injured by the agitator that mixes the chocolate.
Cocoa Services hires a second company — Lyons and Sons — to do the mixing.

Sad. But funny. This is some whacked-out Willy Wonka stuff.
I wonder if the "co-workers" had orange skin and green hair?

Hey everyone has to die.

I feel if you're going to die it should be peaceful. If it can't be peaceful, it should be spectacular!

That way if there's like a "waiting room" after you die or something funny like that where people exchange how they died you can be like "I died in a vat of chocolate!"

This is how Michael Jackson should have died.

There was this roman general who fought against the partians, his wealth was legendary.
So when he got defeated the parthians captured him and poured liquid gold in his mouth.

my point?
could be worse.

True, there's epic death and then there's epic PAIN death.

.....

Falling in and getting knocked unconcious by the stirring machine so you drown in chocolate... not so bad and still epic.

Having molten metal poured down your throat... or ears... or the other crazy shit the ancients did as torture to their enemies/prisoners would really really suck.

I still maintain that being deep fried alive would be the worst way to go, this would still suck.

One insurrection leader was forced to sit on a metal throne, with a metal crown attached, and cooked alive by these items.

His men were forced to start eating him before he lost consciousness.

1514: György Dózsa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gy%C3%B6rgy_D%C3%B3zsa), Székely (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sz%C3%A9kely) man-at-arms and peasants' revolt leader in Hungary, was condemned to sit on a red-hot iron throne with a red-hot iron crown on his head and a red-hot sceptre in his hand (mocking at his ambition to be king), by Hungarian landed nobility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landed_nobility) in Transylvania. While Dózsa was still alive, he was set upon and his partially roasted body was eaten by six of his fellow rebels, who had been starved for a week beforehand. Here. The Parthians were vicious sons of bitches. They cut off Marcus Licinius Crassus' head and used it as a stage-prop. It took Augustus himself to get the standards they took from Crassus' legions back. I heard Cortez was 'fortunate' enough to drink liquid gold as well.

See? How can we think of banning such a rich cultural tradition as torture?

why would anyone want to ban vikings?
