Just watched this movie and thought it was excellent. Nice mashup of the monster/virus genres in my opinion.

The acting was top notch, the script was fairly believable with only a few "what?" moments.

Special effects and creature effects were fantastic!

Has anyone else seen it yet?

Saw it last week.

When I heard the synopsis I thought it would be awesome/funnah, instead it was awesome/exciting.

observations:
- main romantic lead (read: lead boobs) was not an idiot
- I caught myself yelling " GET BACK IN THE FRIDGE, YOU IDIOT!"
- SCIENCE!-guy (lead) sucked.
- fungi will kill you
acting was so so.

I definitely agree that it was awesome/exciting. There were a few surprisingly tense moments, too.

What did you think of the creature? I loved the way it moved.

it was cleverly done and far better than the low grade cg movies normally used by this budget-level.

The parasite angle was pretty clever though.

after the movie, I used my double jointed-ness to make it appear my arm was infested.

I was expecting a TMNT spinoff.

I saw this and thought it was the best horror movie no-one ever heard about. I liked how each person got a moment to shine - how super smart or strong but dumb all had a place in defeating the challenge. And the line, "It's OK - we're just cutting your arm off."
