The Last House on the Left. Looks pretty good, unfortunately they seem to have the entire film condensed in the trailer. Seriously, it's like a Cliff Notes version:

The trailer for the original flick:

It's only a movie
It's only a movie
It's only a movie...

So we have made it through almost all of the remakes of movies worth re-making. I can't wait until we start re-making re-makes now, and end up in 3rd generations of movies.

this looks fucking retarded. I will NOT see this in theatres. All these remakes just prove that hollywood doesn't have decent writers anymore. They all lack original thought! All they want is money. So they cash in on what was once original thoughts. And the original was even a rip off of "The Virgin Spring! They are remaking a rip off!!! lol.

I'll leave you with this moment of zen

It's been done. "The Maltese Falcon", the 1941 one everybody knows, was the second remake of a film with the same name first made in 1931 and remade in 1936 under the title "Satan Met A Lady". The first version of the film is now apparently often shown under the title "Dangerous Female" to avoid confusion with the much more famous remake.

Of course, "we'll make it again, but this time we'll have Bogey in it" is arguably a much sounder and easier remake strategy than the ones open to modern directors...
