High Protein shake


this is for when you need GRATUITOUS AMOUNTS OF PROTEIN:

(I'm guessing at the amounts here, I usually just visually gauge it)
2 cups milk (skim)
1-2 scoop(s) whey protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
vanilla yogurt (6 oz container)
1 banana
1/2 cup peanut butter
chocolate syrup
1 cup ice
blender

put the ingredients in the blender in the following order so it makes blending easier:
ice
yogurt
peanut butter
banana (I usually break it up first)
milk
whey
chocolate syrupblend to desired thickness... enjoy. (makes 1-2 shakes depending on how big/hungry you are)


WARNING: don't combine this with the Post workout MEAL unless you're michael phelps or absolutely need your daily allotment of food in one sitting

My post workout shake is:

Random amount of milk to fit into whatever container I have handy.
2 scoops EAS 100% Whey Protein - Strawberry.

That's really good shit and you can get it at Target for about $11 a pound (2lb bottle).

Imported? Only a non-Amerikan assclown could say that about an offering from North Coast Brewery.


Oh wait, I guess you might consider a beer from the Republik of Kalifornia to be an import. We shall consider this a draw.

I do my Post lifting meals the old fashioned way... can of tuna/jerky etc, and some high glycemic beverage.

After years of drinking assorted blended protein/gainer crap from a multitude of different companies, I'd just prefer to have something instantly ready that takes me a minute or less to eat.

Depends whether the special in the gym's canteen is any good. Last week it was thai chicken curry so I had that. On Fridays I'll accompany it with a beer.

This has always confused me. The only reason that I work out at all is so I can drink alcohol.
