One of the meals that I sometimes make after lifting -

Chocolate Chip Waffles w/ Peanut Butter:
1/2 cup waffle mix (I use Publix Homestyle)
1 egg (I substitute 1/4 cup egg whites)
1 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil)
3/8 cup milk (skim for me)
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
peanut butter
maple syrup
waffle iron
directions:
heat up your waffle iron.
in a medium-sized bowl, mix up the waffle mix, egg, oil, milk, and chocolate chips until completely mixed together. dump about half of the mix on the iron (my waffle iron makes 2 4x4" waffles at a time). heat until golden brown, remove. repeat with the rest of the mix (duh). then layer on as much peanut butter as you want with a little bit of maple syrup, stacking the waffles on top of each other.
protein, carbs, good fat... all the stuff I like after a workout. the peanut butter is what makes the meal, you haven't tried waffles until you've had them with peanut butter
