It's a game. It takes any song you give it and makes a stage out of it.

I downloaded the Demo from Steam and it wasn't too bad. I might spend the cash on it. Playing Death Metal on it was fun, but I suspect what some of the pricks who get the really high scores do is take a really easy song or something and rename it to whatever they want a score in, and then obviously score well.

Oh, so is it like some kind of musical instrument or something?

No.

You're riding on a track and need to pick up the colored blocks to earn points. It's a bit more complicated than that, but it's not like DDR or Guitar Hero.

It looks a little bit like frequency and amplitude

It's like guitar hero, except you hit the loud or highlighted notes with a little car that you're driving. The main selling point is that you can upload any song you want and it will convert it for the game, so you don't have a limited number like guitar hero or rock band.

And this is on the PC, so it's less gay.

so I got it and decided that the "blood rave" techno song from the first Blade movie would be a good one to start out with.... fucking a! they must be killing off the eplieptics left and right with this game

playing more cerebral jazz is strange because it never settles on being fast or slow or loud or soft.

Nine Inch Nails has been pretty fun.
