Starting the 28th of this month, CW is doing double runs of Smallville on Thursdays. They are running the episodes from this/last season that introduce The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Green Arrow. This culminates in an episode that will more than likely feature the formation of the JLA. Now if they only have an episode w/ a young, troubled & violent Bruce Wayne it'd be almost perfect.

Tried watching it, realized it was the shame shit every episode. Only good thing about that show was Lex.

Hated the concept from the moment I heard about it. Have refused to watch it.

Of course, I said the same thing about Buffy The Vampire Slayer and now I own all 7 seasons on DVD....

One key difference, Smallville was not written by Joss.

Good point.

I have been told, by people that I converted to Joss Whedon, that I would like Smallville.

However, I doubt this highly.

It started alright, but now it drags on and on. Just fly around and wreck the place already.

Question!

The later seasons have recurring season-long story arcs (Braniac, Zod, etc.) which are much better than much of the earlier seasons' "Villian-of-the-week" episode formulas.

Chloe is great, Lana is not.

Lana should die, and Chloe should show more cleavage.

Chloe has great cleavage.

In all seriousness, I have the 5 seasons on DVD. It is very formulaic, and frankly the whole Lana/Clark relationship and the constant "I ruv you" "tell me the truth!" "uh, nos" back and forth crap wears thin, so thin that I do in fact hate Lana Lang.

Unfortunately, while Lex is well acted, if I see another damn "clark bursts into lex's mansion and acusses lex of something because of a small connection and lex denies everything" scene, I'm gonna punch my TV and the writer of that episode will fucking feel it.

It's one of my guilty pleasures; I can completely understand why a lot of people don't like it, hell I can even accept that my liking it lowers their opinion of me. Some of these things can't be helped.

Chloe has proven herself to be 100x smarter than 'whine whine my life is so hard!' Lana Lang.

And in the Smallville world, Chloe's cleavage is known as Chloevage. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=chloevage)

And yes, Lex (and his father) is well-acted, despite the constant sexual tension betwen him and Clark. (That one episode where Lex walks into the locker room where Clark and the rest of the football team were in their towels were very gay, and that's just one of many)

I agree with you two (about Chloe).

In fact, I was going to post just that after Neildo's post, but I knew someone (I was thinking Comet, but your gif is nice too Question!) would have a better pic of her than I could find.

So I waited for it... It was worth it.

I don't watch the show tho. Unless I'm flipping channels and she's on, then I watch until she isn't.

Yes, I'm a perv like that.

I can't believe that term's in the urban dictionary. Wow.

For the record, I declined to use it as it would implicate me in my true geekyness.

Oh, and *BAMF*

Wow. Thanks for the Chloe pics.

I thought the series was ok when it started out. The "freak of the week" thing got old really fast though.

I wish season 4 never happened. The first and last episodes of season 4 were the only good parts. They seemed to just completely drop entire plot lines that season. Season 5 was much better, and season 6 has been good so far with the exception of the last episode that aired. That episode was complete and utter shit.
