This time directly from Bush at another organization with anti-Bush ads. I also did some research and all they have to do is accuse and the ad's have to be pulled until an investigation is complete. MoveOn.org claims they have already provided all the information needed to prove the claim false that they illegaly obtained the funds, and that the comitte is "taking their time" processing the paperwork.

Media Fund also claims they obtained their money legally and are gathering all the documents now to prove such.

This is nothing more than a delay tactic on behalf of the Bush Admin.

I agree, it's a complete stall tactic, and absolute bullshit.

Not without a highly unlikely ammendment to the constitution.

What's happening is that the Democrats, who haven't raised enough cash for Kerry, are using soft money organizations to funnel money to aid Kerry. Problem is it's illegal for organizations like that to attack a candicate AND be funded by a few wealthy donors. In other words, the Democrats can't legally get the money they need so they're end running the law.

Aren't you following what he is pushing for? Maybe that is why you said that, but he is supporting people to run for president who have been cit's for 20+ years.

?? The donations total in the millions of 50-60 dollars. The total after rich people/orgs is in the hundreds of millions. All they have to do is make sure all the low end donations go to character attacks, then they are covered according to the law, which is seams moveon.org has done and is proving.

Yes, but it doesn't much matter.

The support needed to ammend the constitution is well beyond what I believe they will be able to get for such a measure.

The odds of any Constitutional amendment happening are slim at best. Something like this has about zero chance of ever happening. Even if it did get going Arnold would more then likely be dead before the actual amendment occured.

Don't be fooled either, because the republicans do the same thing, they are just upset this election because the democrats are collecting more money this way then ever before.

Demolition Man is going to happen IRL!!!!!

I do think that they should change the constitution so that a person who is a citizen for 20+ years is eligible. You'd think that would be in the romanticized "spirit" of the US.

Course it will be shot down by people who have grown up their whole lives with a silver spoon in their mouth then complain that the "foreigner" who started with $15 in his pocket cant relate to the American people as a whole, and therefore is unfit.
