With the release of of the Indiana Jones series on DVD, I got to thinking what other series of movies was my favorites...

Personally, I'm thinking the Alien series was my top favorite, tho I liked a lot of other series too..

Alien
Indiana Jones
predator
terminator
die hard
lethal weapon
star wars

and many others I can't think of off the top of my head..

edit: changed title to more match my thoughts..

Bond movies without a doubt. Sean Connery #1 Bond.

Indiana Jones
Lethal Weapon
Star Wars (before the new ones)
Terminator

Aliens I only liked the first 2 mainly, third was ok I guess, and 4th just sucked ass IMHO.

Same with most movies, the sequals sucked ass. The first ones I named were the only ones I can think of that didn't get worse and worse with the sequals, etc.

Naked Gun

Rocky series, more specifically Rocky 4 > all . Revenge of the Nerds is up there too. But an all time great beyond any movie I've seen IMHO was the australian flick Return of the Jugger, more aptly known here in states as "The Blood of Heroes", starring Ruthger Howard and Joan Chen, craziest/coolest flick I've ever seen. Oh yeah Mad Max/Road Warrior series in my top three as well.

BOND movies, the best scenes are when he walks in on a guy about to grab a gun, and slaps the toaster in the bathtub with him. Then when he is laying on the bed, and somebody flips it up and these guys run in and unload machine guns on the bed but he lives!

The Pink Panther movies (except the one that didn't star Peter Sellers). Classic comedy.

The Romancing the Stone series was pretty good too with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner as a sort of romance-novel-gone-wrong meets Indiana Jones. Not sure War of the Roses is technically part of the series (involves the same people) but it's pretty funny too.

Star Trek 4 was awesome.

"Where do you keep your nuclear wessels?"

Voompa

I'm so obnoxious with saying wessels whenever I see anything associated with Star Trek. Actually, I'll say wessels right after I start spouting off about resistance is futile. I'm such a dork. :(
